When you accept a scope and hire a lawyer, payments are held in Stripe escrow. Funds are only released to the lawyer when you approve each completed milestone. You always stay in control.

All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Video recordings are GDPR-compliant and auto-deleted after 30 days. We use Stripe for payment security and comply with UK data protection regulations.

If a consultation hasn't taken place, you may be eligible for a refund. For orders in progress, escrow funds for uncompleted milestones can be disputed. Contact support for specific cases.

Yes. Every lawyer on eSolicitors goes through a vetting process. We check qualifications, regulatory registration (SRA, BSB, or equivalent), and credentials before they can accept clients.

Lawyer earnings depend on your subscription plan. Platform fees vary by tier — Elite plan members pay the lowest fees. There are no listing fees or monthly minimums on the free plan.

Payments are processed through Stripe Connect. When a client approves a milestone, funds are transferred to your connected Stripe account. You can set up direct bank transfers from Stripe.

Yes. All lawyers can upload and sell legal document templates through our template marketplace. The number of listings depends on your subscription plan.
